Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is releasing Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine For You Special Edition on January 5, 2010. I grew up watching and loving Winnie the Pooh so I was excited to have the opportunity to review the movie and share it with J. This Valentine animated collections includes 3 Winnie the Pooh stories, including A Valentine for You, Un-Valentine's Day and My Hero.
I live on the East Coast and we've had a lot of snow and blistering cold weather lately so this was the perfect chance to stay inside, snuggle under a blanket and watch some movies. J was so excited when he saw he had a new movie to watch. A Valentine for You is about Pooh and his friends seeing Christopher Robin writing a Valentine for a new girl and they become concerned that he will no longer have time for them. This is a sweet story that reminds us we have enough room in our hearts for both new and old friends. Un-Valentine's Day is about Rabbit wanting to cancel Valentine's Day because he got too many valentines the year before. Reluctantly everyone agrees. Next thing you know, Valentine's Day is in full swing and even Rabbit is happy to be celebrating. The third and final story is My Hero. This story is about Piglet saving Tigger's life and Tigger wanting to do anything and everything to repay Piglet, even when it does him more harm then good.

J loved all 3 of the stories and we watch the whole collection atleast twice a day. These classic stories are heart warming and can be enjoyed for years to come. I know when Baby L gets bigger he will love them all too and it will be a great way for the boys to bond together.
I received a copy of this movie free of charge for review on my blog. I was not compensated in any other way. All views and opinions are my own.
