Francesco Rinaldi ToBe Healthy Pasta Sauce Review

Francesco Rinaldi ToBe Healthy pasta sauce is the first major line of pasta sauce fortified with DHA Omega 3, which is essential to heart health. We are always trying to eat healthy whenever possible and with a very picky toddler that isn't always easy. Pasta is one of the few things both boys will always eat. There's a great variety of pastas and sauces on the market today making them so versatile.

We had the opportunity to try Francesco Rinaldi ToBe Healthy Tomato Basil pasta sauce. I switched it out one night while making penne pasta. I usually make my own pasta sauce so the boys did noticed a change in flavor. I will be honest and say they didn't mind the new pasta flavor. The sauce was thick and rich, just the way we like it. It didn't have too much acidity from the tomatoes (why I always add a little sugar to my sauce) and a nice taste of basil mixed in (my favorite herb).

Francesco Rinaldi ToBe Healthy pasta sauce comes in four delicious flavors:
Tomato Basil
Garden Vegetable
Garlic & Onion
Spicy Marinara

You can purchase Francesco Rinaldi ToBe Healthy pasta sauces from their website or check out your local retailers. Francesco Rinaldi also has a recipe collection for their ToBe Healthy pasta sauces as well as all of their other products. It's great to look through when you need help coming up with dinner.

Teacher Gifts

I can't believe my sweet baby boy is finishing his first year of preschool tomorrow. J turned 4 in April so he will have another year of preschool before heading off to Kindergarten. I can't believe how fast time flies.

So I was trying to come up with teacher gifts for both of his teachers. I wanted to get them something useful yet still thoughtful. I remember reading somewhere about gifts to NOT get your teachers. Real teachers chimed in and two of the things that I always remembered, nothing with apples and nothing with your child's picture on it ha!

I took these two plain boring clipboards...

and turned them into this!

I did these designs on the back of the clipboards so that the bumps from the letters wouldn't get in the way when they were written on. I also included a bunch of cute colorful clips, clamps, pens and notepads for each of the teachers. I figured this is something practical that they could actually use and still thoughtful because they were personalized.

What do you think??

Cover Girl Blast Collection Review

I don't have a lot of time for make up these days so whatever I put on my face needs to be fast and easy...and still look great of course. Through a BzzCampaign I received Cover Girls' new Smoky Shadowblast and Shineblast Lip Gloss to try.

Smoky Shadowblast is a double sided shadow stick for a bold and easy smoky eye. There are two different contoured ends to make the shadow stick easy to apply. One stick contains two expertly paired colors to create your look without the help of a professional makeup artist. There are six different colored shadow sticks to choose from.

The Smoky Shadowblast was easy to apply. They were smooth and creamy. The back of the package gives you instructions on how to use the sticks properly to create your smoky eye. I did notice though there wasn't a lot of pigment in the colors so I had roll the stick over a few times to get the right shade.

Check out these tips from professional make up artist Molly Sterns

I have to say of the two Cover Girl products I tried, the Shineblast Lip Gloss was my favorite. I love lip gloss! For someone who doesn't wear a lot of make up, it makes a big difference and makes me feel like I had a little extra time to look more presentable.

The Shineblast Lip Gloss is a light reflecting shimmer layered under a high gloss finish giving you 4x more noticeable shine. It has a contoured shape making it easy to apply and glide across your lips. I loved that the Shineblast Lip Gloss wasn't sticky as a lot of other lip glosses are. It gave a great hint of color with an outstanding shine. It even had a nice scent. Cover Girl Shineblast Lip Gloss comes in 16 beautiful shades.

I received this product free of charge as part of a BzzCampaign from BzzAgent and Cover Girl. The views and opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.

all Free Clear Laundry Detergent Review & Giveaway

To help new moms manage, all® Free Clear is teaming up with Kerry Colburn, author of How to Have Your Second Child First, to create a forum at www.facebook.com/alllaundry for first-time moms to share tips and seek out advice from other moms who have been there before. There, both first time and experienced moms can help each other save time and money, while still showering their newborn with all that it needs. The all® Facebook page will also provide money saving advice and a downloadable coupon.

all® Free Clear is the number one free clear detergent and is pediatrician and dermatologist recommended for sensitive skin. It is free of perfumes and clear of dyes, and gently lifts away tough baby stains. Importantly for new moms on a budget, all® Free Clear costs fifty percent less than Dreft®!

When I had my first child, I bought everything under the sun. If it was cute, or said "for babies" I just had to have it. By the time I had my second child, I had learned what I really needed and what I didn't. I learned that the same product packaged two different ways, was still the same product. I discovered all Free Clear because I have sensitive skin and don't like perfume and dyes in my detergent. I realized fast that all Free Clear was the same thing as the other brand of "for babies" laundry detergent and started saving my family money by buying only one detergent for everyone. all Free Clear is a great detergent that gets our clothes clean and fresh without irritating mine and L's sensitive skin. It all saves me time because I don't have to separate L's clothes from everyone elses.

How to Have Your Second Child First: 100 Things That Are Good to Know the First Time Around is a great book I wish I had had when J was born. It highlights a lot of tips that may seem like common sense, yet when you're holding your first born, nothing makes sense. These tips help you save money, time and your sanity. "You don't need a changing table"! Yes, it's cute and matches the furniture, but you don't need it. I have never bought one and have never regretted it. "You can leave your baby with other people". I still have a hard time with this even though J is 4. But the few times we have, dear Hubby and I have really enjoyed our time quiet time together. "Dress your baby in whatever is easiest". We got a ton of super cute baby clothes for our son's shower. Adorable outfits with with matching accessories. Let me just say, everything is cuter on the hanger. I learned fast to dress the boys in was easy for diaper changes and spit up messes. They don't always match but they don't mind either.

BornFree Review

BornFree is the leading baby brand specializing in products that are 100 percent free of BPA, Phthalates and PVC. BornFree has announced the launch of three new products: The Twist’n Pop Straw Cup; BPA-Free CoolFlow Pacifier; and BPA-Free Clear Pacifier, all of which are composed from the safest materials.

TWIST’N POP STRAW CUP: This 14 fl oz toddler cup has a twist straw mouth with a pop-up soft silicone straw that keeps the straw clean and reduces spills. The cup has removable parts for easy clean up and an ergonomic design making it easy for a child to grip and hold. Available in blue, green, yellow and pink.

BPA-FREE COOLFLOW PACIFIER: Available in two stage sizes, the CoolFlow Pacifier has extra large air holes and a raised rim to increase air circulation around the mouth area, a snap on protective cap to maintain hygiene between use and an ergonomically designed shield for an optimum fit between baby’s nose and chin. The pacifier is made of medical grade odorless silicone, which encourages the natural development of baby’s teeth and gums. Available in green, yellow, purple and teal.

BPA-FREE CLEAR PACIFIER – Also available in two stage sizes, the Clear Pacifier has a Tritan transparent curved Comfy Shield with air holes, which increases air circulation around the mouth area and is gentle on baby’s skin. It also has a flat security ring handle for easy removal. The Clear Pacifier is made of medical grade odorless silicone, which encourages the natural development of baby’s teeth and
gums. Available in green, yellow, purple, teal, orange and red.

L is the perfect age to try all 3 of BornFree's new products. I have to say I loved the BPA-Free CoolFlow Pacifier the best. When L woke up he didn't have a ring imprint around his mouth that his other pacifiers have left. The protective cap is absolutely genius! It's easy to snap on and helps keep the pacifier clean if I need to throw it in my diaper bag or we're out and about. L loved the Twist'n Pop Straw Cup. He has been using a sippy cup for several months now and is always trying to use J's big boy straw cup. He even went around and shared his cup with everyone making sure we each got a turn to drink out of the straw. The Twist'n Pop Straw cup's design makes it easy for L's little hands to hold.

You can purchase any of the BornFree line of products online at www.newbornfree.com or at any the following retail stores: Target, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Duane Reed, BabiesRUS/ToysRUS, Whole Foods, BuyBuyBaby, local grocery chains and many other retailers.

I received these products free of charge for review on my blog. This was my only form of compensation. All views and opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.

FRENCH'S Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce Review

"Introducing the sweet dipping sauce that makes ordinary foods delicious and fun! Made with real honey and #1 grade mustard seeds, FRENCH'S® Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce is sweet, smooth and creamy. It's great for dipping your favorite chicken nuggets and fries. Or use it to liven up everyday snacks like carrot sticks, pretzels and cheese. French's Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce brings smiles to snack time!"

I. Love. Honey Mustard.

Honey Mustard is my number one condiment. I love it on sandwiches, hamburgers, french fries, even bread sticks. When I was offered the chance to try FRENCH'S New Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce, my answer was pretty obvious...heck yea!

Since I was already a fan of FRENCH'S Yellow Mustard I knew their new Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce had to be a good one. I was right! It was sweet yet tangy. It wasn't too thick and was nice and creamy. It was the perfect dipping sauce for the hamburgers we grilled over the weekend (yes, I actually dip my hamburgers not top them). Even L liked dipping his little pretzel sticks into it as a snack.

FRENCH'S Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce is perfect for chicken nuggets, vegetables, pretzels, french fries and so much more. Check out FRENCH'S for a special coupon and try it for yourself.
