Green Giant Fresh Steamers Review & GIVEAWAY

When coming up with dinner ideas I usually get stumped with matching side dishes. I always make sure to have at least one vegetable with every dinner. If my kids could have it their way, they would be on a pasta diet. Pasta is the one thing I can always get my kids to eat no matter what.

Green Giant is introducing a few new pasta and vegetables in savory sauce to their line of Fresh Steamers. I'm already a fan of their Fresh Steamers so I was excited to hear about their news.

New Valley Fresh Steamers Vegetables with Pasta varieties include:

Macaroni and Cheese Sauce with Broccoli - classic elbow pasta and broccoli in a mouth watering cheese sauce

Pasta and Vegetables with Alfredo Sauce - delicious corkscrew pasta with carrots and broccoli in a savory Alfredo sauce

I received a fun prize pack to try out Green Giant's new line.

Any mother knows how much kids love mac & cheese so the Mac & Cheese with Broccoli was my pick. I love how convenient these dishes are. Just pop the whole bag in the microwave and you're done! The pasta was done just right, not mushy at all. The broccoli was tender, just the way we like it. The creamy cheese sauce was the perfect amount to cover everything. The best part of all...my kids loved it!

Do you want to WIN your own prize pack just like mine?? It will include 2 Green Giant placemats, 1 Broccoli stress reliever, 32 oz. serving bowl, surprise face serving spoon and a coupon for 1 free package of Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers.

Fill in the Blankie Review & GIVEAWAY

Baby blankets are a necessity for every baby. I have dozens of blankets for each of my kids. All kinds of designs, styles, materials and colors. When I was asked about reviewing a blanket from Fill in the Blankie I knew these were a different kind of personalized baby blankets.

Fill in the Blankie aren't you're ordinary personalized blankets because you make it truly unique. There are 39 blanket styles/colors, 27 fonts and 18 thread colors to choose from. The best part of it all, you have up to 200 characters to to say what you really want to say. Fully embroidered blankets start at just $39.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review a personalized blanket. I chose the Natalie's on Cloud Nine blanket in Honeydew Melon with turquoise thread. On one side I put Baby M's birth date, time and weight. The other three sides fit one of my favorite quotes "Before you were conceived, I wanted you...". When the blanket arrived it was better than I expected. This is a real quality made blanket. It's thick and soft to the touch. The embroidery is just beautiful.
We've taken this blanket out and about with us. It's been dropped, dragged, run over and washed...you know the typically wear and tear of little kids. Everything about this blanket has held up and still looks wonderful. For an extra special touch you can also choose a sew cute icon or a Pig in a Blankie to go along with your blanket. If you need ideas on what to put on your blanket they offer text suggestions for personalizing your baby blanket.

Want to WIN your own Fill in the Blankie?? One random Oh My Baby reader will receive a digital gift card worth $150 to create your own special blanket! Leave your comment by November 17th. Winner will have 48 hours to respond. Good Luck!

Seventh Generation Diapers Review & Giveaway

Seventh Generation has recently re-launched their Free & Clear Diapers and we were lucky to try them!

Seventh Generation Free & Clear diapers do not include chlorine processing, fragrances, latex and petroleum based lotions. In an effort to contribute less overall landfill waste and continue to ensure a premium standard of absorbency, the new Free & Clear diapers have been redesigned with a lighter-weight core. With processed chlorine-free wood pulp in Free & Clear diapers, Seventh Generation also makes certain that no chlorine is released into the environment during the totally chlorine-free (TCF) whitening process of the diapers and training pants.

Seventh Generation has also reduced the size of the diapers’ plastic packaging, meaning that each pack now contributes even less overall landfill waste than before. In fact, Seventh Generation Free & Clear diaper packaging can now be recycled at local supermarkets where plastic bag recycling collection boxes are available.

We received a pack of Seventh Generation Free & Clear diapers to try. As a mother of 3, two of who are still in diapers I have tried several different brands and varieties of diapers. At first glance, the diapers look a little boring. They are an ivory colored diaper with no fun cartoon designs that other brands have. L noticed right away they looked different from his regular diapers. I have to say that was basically the only downfall to the diapers for us. I had never used Seventh Generation brand diapers before but they held up well for L throughout the day. They were absorbent and we didn't have any leaks. They didn't bulge up when wet either. It's a nice plus knowing they are better for the environment because like I said before I have 2 kids in diapers and that really takes my fair share of waste.

One Oh My Baby reader will WIN their own pack of Seventh Generation Free & Clear diapers to try. Simply leave your comments by Thursday, September 29th. One random winner will be chosen. US addresses only please. Good Luck!

Kidz Bop 20 Review & GIVEAWAY

Kidz Bop, the #1 music brand for kids ages 5-12, is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary with the release of Kidz Bop 20!

We've seen the commercials for Kidz Bop 20 all over the TV and everytime we do J and L go crazy dancing to all of the songs. They were so excited to receive a review copy of Kidz Bop 20 and it came just in time for our long car ride to the beach.

Kidz Bop are CD's that have kids singing today's hottest new songs. Some of the lyrics in today's music aren't always appropriate for young kids. What I like best about Kidz Bop is that they change the inappropriate lyrics to words that still flow with the song so the kids don't even notice. Kids are so easily influenced and J already picks up on everything so I'm relieved to know this is one less thing to worry about.

Kids Bop 20 includes

1. Born This Way
2. Till the World Ends
3. Forget You
4. Price Tag
5. Written in the Stars
6. On the Floor
7. The Lazy Song
8. Perfect
9.Tonight Tonight
10. More
11. The Story of Us
12. Rocketeer
13. Who Says
14. Never Say Never
15. Whip My Hair
16. Rolling in the Deep

We had a looooooong drive to the beach and I was so glad we had this CD! We must have listened to the whole thing atleast 6 times each way. I have to admit I'm not a fan of the kiddie music you get with certain CDs especially when the kids sound like babies. Kidz Bop 20 had today's music so Dear Hubby and I could sing along. Not to mention these kids can really sing! It was nice we could agree on the same music as the boys and again not have to worry about the lyrics they were hearing.

Two lucky Oh My Baby readers will WIN their own copy of Kidz Bop 20! Leave me your comment by 11:59pm EST on August 17th. Two random winners will be chosen and have 48 hours to respond. U.S. addresses only please. Good Luck!

Monster High GIVEAWAY

Sakar and Mattel have teamed up to create Fashion Walkie Talkies. Monster High Walkie Talkies are part of an exciting new line of children's tech toys that was recently announced at the Consumer Electronics Show this past January.

Walkie Talkies keep my kids busy for hours! I loved that the Monster High Walkie Talkies come with an ear plug so I don't have to listen to the conversations all over the house. They have a light up antenna allowing the kids to use them at night (even when they should be sleeping!)There's even a mirror on the back so you can see any one behind you. The frequency reached all over our house, upstairs and down, no problem. The walkie talkies weren't made of the sturdiest of materials because they're a toy. But I was felt better knowing they came with a 1 year manufacturing warranty.

You can purchase Monster High Walkie Talkies at Toys R Us and retails for $19.99

Want to WIN your own set of Monster High Walkie Talkies?? One Oh My Baby reader will WIN their own set. Leave your comment by 11:59pm EST on July 12th. Winner will have 48 hours to respond or a new winner will be chosen. Good Luck!!

Donsuemor Cookies Review & GIVEAWAY

Starting with an original French recipe, Don and Susie Morris (DON-SUE-MOR) introduced madeleines to their Berkeley community in 1976. Donsuemor cookies are delicious and wholesome cookies and tea cakes, made with the finest all natural ingredients. It is the mission of Donsuemor to surprise and delight everyday with their desserts. You might have seen their cookies in some coffee shops or specialty stores.

Donsuemor started with Madeleines, an elegant french cake with a distinctive shell shape. Their line of cookies has since expanded into Chocolate Madeleines, Lemon Zest Madeleines, Chocolate Dipped Madeleines, French Almond Cakes and Chocolate and Vanilla Cute Cakes

Who doesn't love a tasty treat?? I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to try Donsuemor's line of cookies and tea cakes. I was even more exited when I received my package and saw all of the delicious goodness that came.
My two favorite (I had a hard time choosing just one!) treats were the Lemon Zest Madeleines and the Chocolate Cute Cakes. I love lemon desserts so the Lemon Zest Madeleines were an obvious choice. Both treats were moist and flavorful. The extra sprinkles topping on the Chocolate Cute Cakes made a nice crunch with the creamy icing. My mother in law was visiting and she had a chance to try Donsuemor's cookies as well. She really enjoyed the Madeleines and French Almond Cakes with her coffee in the mornings.

Check out this video on how to make a delicious fruit parfait using Donsuemor's cookies

Miracles Missions by Pampers and $50 GC GIVEAWAY

In honor of their 50th birthday, Pampers has launched Miracles Missions, a pay-it-forward program delivering acts of kindness to little miracles and their families.

I had my third little miracle a short 6 weeks ago. I was blessed with so many wonderful friends who showered us with wonderful gifts, prepared meals and tons of diapers. Pampers have always been my diaper of choice. This new program is just another great thing about this product and company.

Pampers sent me a $50 American Express gift card and challenged me to perform a random act of kindness to celebrate a little miracle in my community. I knew right away what I wanted to do and for who. I have a wonderful friend who is having a high risk pregnancy. She has been on bedrest for quiet some time now and it's been difficult to do the simple things like making dinner for her family. To top it off, her husband was laid off a few months ago. He was lucky enough to find another job but his salary is not nearly what it used to be. I took this $50 gift card and purchased a box of Pampers diapers and made dinner for the family. The expressions on their faces was all the thanks needed knowing I helped some wonderful people by doing something so simple.

Check out this sweet commercial from Pampers
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxbRdxbBROI

For more detailed information on the Little Miracle Mission, including the kick-off where Pampers donated care packages to Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) across the country with the help of celebs Joey Lawrence, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos and LaLa Anthony were on-hand in New York City

Everyone can participate in a small way by liking Pampers' Facebook page. Then go to the Miracle Missions tab and commit to Mission 1 by clicking "I Want To Pledge". Once more than 2500 people pledge, Pampers will give baby showers to expectant mothers nationwide just in time for Mother's Day. Also, anyone who pledges is automatically entered to win a year's supply worth of Pampers diapers and wipes.

Pampers wants to challenge you to pay-it-forward for someone in your community. One Oh My Baby reader will WIN a $50 American Express gift card to make their pay-it-forward idea a reality. Leave your comment by 11:59 pm EST on Tuesday, May 24th. Good Luck!

EZSOX Review & GIVEAWAY

The "I Can Do It!" sox

The unique EZSox design makes a great training sock for little ones. J wants to do everything for himself and putting on his socks and shoes is no exception. He's been good at putting on his socks but needs help making them straight. When you wear all white socks it makes it hard to know which way is up.

Cute animal faces act as a guide, showing kids which way is up. Reinforced loops give tiny fingers a strong grip for pulling over tiny toes and non-skid bottoms make EZ SOX safer on slippery surfaces. EZSox are even made seamless for sensitive little toes.

EXSox come in a variety of cute animals and solid colors so your little ones can choose their favorites. We were able to review both the green frog and brown teddy bear designs. J was so excited to see the frog because his favorite color is green. He couldn't wait to put the socks on himself. The loops made it easy for him to pull them on. He was able to know which way was up thanks to the frog's face. I didn't have to straighten them out for him. It may not sound like much but one less thing for me to do as we're rushing out the door makes a world of difference. It's also a nice bonus that the socks are nice and soft.

One lucky Oh My Baby reader will WIN their choice of EZSox. Simply leave your comment by 11:59pm EST on Jan 18, 2011. US addresses only please
