Holiday Extravaganza - Cook's Ham Review & Giveaway

We love ham in this house! It's the only meat I can get J to eat on a regular basis. We love it in sandwiches, omelets, and salads.

We had the opportunity to try a Cook's Ham and it was delicious. It was moist and tender. We got a 20 lb ham and after stuffing ourselves we still had so much leftover. J loves it by itself cut up in small pieces. It's so easy to feed him a nice lunch with the leftovers. Dear Hubby takes some to work and I love it as a snack with cheese and crackers.

Cook's Ham gives you great recipe ideas and new glazes to try with their delicious hams. Cook's has a variety of hams including; Bone-in and Boneless Hams, Ham Steaks, Spiral Sliced Hams and Corned Beef Brisket.

Want to try a Cook's Ham for yourself? One Oh My Baby reader will WIN their own free Cook's Ham (up to $30). I was able to buy our 20 lb ham with this same coupon. To receive your coupon for a free Cook's ham leave me a comment by December 18th. One random winner will have 48 hours to respond. U.S. addresses only please.

Awesome Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

I came across this recipe and had to try it out. I loved it so much I wanted to share it. Who doesn't love a chocolate chip cookie??

Ingredients
2 Cups plus 2 TBS flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
12 TBS butter, melted and cooled
1 Cup packed brown sugar
1/2 Cup white sugar
1 large egg and 1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla
1 - 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together and set aside

Mix the butter and sugars until thoroughly blended. Beat in egg, yolk and vanilla until combined.

Add the dry ingredients and beat on low until just combined. Stir in chips.

Scoop out dough in 1/4 cup and place on cookie sheets.

Bake 15-18 mins
Makes about 12 cookies.

And for my own extra flair. While cookies are still warm, smear some marshmallow fluff over cookie for a new take on s'mores. YUM!

Hope you enjoy this recipe!
