RECARO ProSERIES Carseat Review

When I first found out I was pregnant I went on a hunt for all of the best baby products. Carseats were at the top of my list. Nothing is more important than your child's health and safety. Since I'm constantly on the go, car safety is very important.

I recently had baby #3 and over the years have been through several styles and brands of carseats. I was excited when I had the opportunity to review a RECARO ProSERIES carseat. I had never used the brand before and was very curious about the product. First, I went to RECARO's website for all of their latest and greatest info. Then I started doing my own research and finding reviews from real parents who have used the products. I have always felt you get the best info and honest reviews from real parents who use the products in their daily lives. I must have read through several dozen reviews on many different sites and to be honest, I did not find a single negative review. It was nothing but wonderful reviews and comments, one after another. So you can only imagine my excitement to try RECARO's carseat grew.


Both J and L were thrilled when the giant box arrived. Once we got the carseat out of the box they both needed a turn to try it out. I was very impressed with this carseat. It was strong and sturdy. I liked that you could use this carseat both rear facing (5-35 lbs) and forward facing (20-70 lbs.). RECARO has so many premium features to their proseries carseat including premium side impact protection, EPS energy absorbing foam, cool mesh air ventilation and RECARO's own seat structure design that has the highest weight limit available using the 5 point harness. In a nutshell, RECARO took everything they know about seating safety and miniaturized it and made it easy for parents on the go. The installation was simple to understand and I liked the true lock belt lock-off for added safety in the forward position. The turn of a knob adjusts the head restraint to fit each child. RECARO Side Impact Protection Protects 5 vulnerable areas of your child during a side impact collision, Head, Face, Torso, Neck and Pelvis.

RECARO developed and optimized side impact protection for race car seats in the 1990's then quickly adapted their expertise to set a new standard for premium child safety seats. The ProRIDE is tested to and exceeds all U.S. federal regulations for safety. All RECARO seats are evaluated in their seating competency centers in both the U.S. and Europe.

Donsuemor Cookies Review & GIVEAWAY

Starting with an original French recipe, Don and Susie Morris (DON-SUE-MOR) introduced madeleines to their Berkeley community in 1976. Donsuemor cookies are delicious and wholesome cookies and tea cakes, made with the finest all natural ingredients. It is the mission of Donsuemor to surprise and delight everyday with their desserts. You might have seen their cookies in some coffee shops or specialty stores.

Donsuemor started with Madeleines, an elegant french cake with a distinctive shell shape. Their line of cookies has since expanded into Chocolate Madeleines, Lemon Zest Madeleines, Chocolate Dipped Madeleines, French Almond Cakes and Chocolate and Vanilla Cute Cakes

Who doesn't love a tasty treat?? I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to try Donsuemor's line of cookies and tea cakes. I was even more exited when I received my package and saw all of the delicious goodness that came.
My two favorite (I had a hard time choosing just one!) treats were the Lemon Zest Madeleines and the Chocolate Cute Cakes. I love lemon desserts so the Lemon Zest Madeleines were an obvious choice. Both treats were moist and flavorful. The extra sprinkles topping on the Chocolate Cute Cakes made a nice crunch with the creamy icing. My mother in law was visiting and she had a chance to try Donsuemor's cookies as well. She really enjoyed the Madeleines and French Almond Cakes with her coffee in the mornings.

Miracles Missions by Pampers and $50 GC GIVEAWAY

In honor of their 50th birthday, Pampers has launched Miracles Missions, a pay-it-forward program delivering acts of kindness to little miracles and their families.

I had my third little miracle a short 6 weeks ago. I was blessed with so many wonderful friends who showered us with wonderful gifts, prepared meals and tons of diapers. Pampers have always been my diaper of choice. This new program is just another great thing about this product and company.

Pampers sent me a $50 American Express gift card and challenged me to perform a random act of kindness to celebrate a little miracle in my community. I knew right away what I wanted to do and for who. I have a wonderful friend who is having a high risk pregnancy. She has been on bedrest for quiet some time now and it's been difficult to do the simple things like making dinner for her family. To top it off, her husband was laid off a few months ago. He was lucky enough to find another job but his salary is not nearly what it used to be. I took this $50 gift card and purchased a box of Pampers diapers and made dinner for the family. The expressions on their faces was all the thanks needed knowing I helped some wonderful people by doing something so simple.
