Pancakes are J's favorite breakfast food. He would eat them every morning if he could. Since mornings can get pretty crazy during the week we have made Sundays our pancake mornings. What goes hand in hand with pancakes? Syrup of course! J loves his syrup but I don't love all that sugar first thing in the morning. I try to limit how much I give him but I also know he sneaks a little extra on his plate when I'm not looking.
Log Cabin Syrup has been in households since 1887. Driven by the growing consumer demand for high quality all natural products, Log Cabin is introducing the first All Natural Pancake Syrup. That means there is no high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or flavors, this new syrup is also gluten free and still tastes great!
Yesterday, we had our usual Sunday morning pancakes and I swiped out our regular syrup for Log Cabin's new All Natural Pancake Syrup. I never said a word to J about the syrup swap and left the bottle on the counter so he couldn't see it. I waited and waited and without missing a step, he gobbled up his pancakes and asked for more. It was a success! Log Cabin's new All Natural Syrup was still sweet and great tasting. I honestly couldn't tell a difference in the taste from our regular syrup. However, I did notice that the All Natural version is thinner than the regular version. I actually liked this more because it spread out around the plate so it looked like I had poured more than I actually did. At first glace, the bottle itself is a little boring. By that I mean, it lacks the fun colors or characters that attracts most kids. Another reason why I left it on the counter instead of the table for J to see. Let's be honest, kids love bright colors and food that looks fun, not what's good for them.
Log Cabin All Natural Syrup is already being distributed now and can be found in retailers nationwide in July. Look in your store's specialty syrup section.
I received this product free of charge for review on my blog. No other compensation was received. All views and opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.

Thank you for the great information. Syrup is a must at our house for pancake days but I don't like the high fructose corn syrup. Thank you for letting us know there IS an alternative coming our way!
